Before I was a Fitzpatrick

I am 34, a mother of 3 girls, a step mother of a little boy, a sister to one, step sister to two, and a wife to my soulmate.  Since this is my first attempt at a blog I will start at the beginning of my adulthood.  I turned 18 in April of 1996, graduated high school in June the same year, and decided to skip college and become a wife.  (I was also considered a Christian at that time.)  I married my first husband on Valentine's Day 1998 at Niagara Falls and for awhile the marriage was awesome.  We started to argue a lot and eventually it became physical.  We welcomed our first daughter in December of 1999, our second daughter in May of 2002, and I welcomed our third daughter in July of 2005.
I welcomed our third daughter because I found out I was pregnant after I filed for divorce, he decided he wanted nothing to do with her.  This takes us to the summer of 2005, I was lost in life and single for the first time in 10 years.  This is when  the Goddess spoke to me as I took a walk in the woods by myself, I soon discovered my true path, Wicca.  I started to come out of the broom closed a little later and soon discovered that a lot of people are not as accepting as I thought they were of different religions.  I still to this day where my pentacle necklace and always will show pride in my religion, regardless of how others judge me.
From 2005 til 2011 my life changed drastically I lost loved ones, had a failed attempt at college, and a lot of failed relationships.  It wasn't until January of 2011 that I finally started getting life the way I wanted it.  I started chatting with a guy that lived 2 hours away, we would gab for hours.  He invited me to a Superbowl party with him that February, the moment I seen him I knew he would be my husband.  We became inseparable from that day forward.  He gave me my engagement ring for my birthday that year.
From the get go I was open to him about being a witch and answered all the questions he had.  He was relived when I explained I was not a Satanist and did not even believe in the devil or hell, he is still trying to figure out how I don't believe in "God."  We got strange looks when we went places, me with my pentacle and him with his Cross necklace.  He moved in with me in May and we started wedding planning.
He has learned about my holidays, he doesn't participate but that never crossed my mind that he would.  He doesn't ask me to attend Church services with him either.  The only little spat we had was in December when I would say Happy Holidays and he would say Merry Christmas, silly yes but necessary in defining holidays.  It was also the first year he had a Holiday Tree instead of Christmas Tree and he learned all about Yule logs, tehe.
Fast forward to 2012, I wanted a Handfasting/Wedding he agreed but only to certain parts of the ceremony, I was fine with this.  The more we planned the more our day seemed like a chore than a day of happiness.  This is when I suggested we say forget the Handfasting/Wedding and just go to the Magistrate to say our vows.  We were married by the Clymer Magistrate on Febraury 16th.
